Preflop: Hero is UTG1 with J:c, A:c.

Hero raises, 4 folds, CO calls, BU folds, SB 3-Bets, BB folds, Hero calls, CO calls.

Flop: (10 SB) A:s, 2:c, K:s (3 players)
SB bets, Hero ?

Hi!

Opponents unknown.

My friends & I have argues about this hand. If we were one on one with SB it would be calldown I believe. But with CO present in this hand I think we'd better raise\fold on the flop though SB would fold JJ, QQ we can still get value from CO & if SB 3bets we can fold despite our backdoors. What will you suggest?

Hi!

Raise fold is the worst option due to odds and you have nice backdoor equity +sometimes be vs AJ,AQ or whatever since he is unknown.
My prefference vs unknown is just standard 3way WAWB.Sure there are some gutshots in COs range where protection comes in but its really small part.On the other hand you want him to make bad overcalls and at the same time you dont want SB to fold anything that is pretty dead vs you.
Alternative is to raise but then I just cant give up my hand vs unknown. He can easily be looser and have AJ,AT,QsJs or something like that and getting huge odds its hard to let go.
