Pre Flop: (1.5 SB) Hero is SB with 7  6 :diamond:
1 fold, CO calls, 1 fold, Hero calls, BB checks

Flop: (3 SB) 5 :diamond: 7 :club: J  (3 players)
Hero bets, BB folds, CO calls

Turn: (2.5 BB) 3  (2 players)
Hero bets, CO calls

River: (4.5 BB) 9 :diamond: (2 players)
Hero bets, CO calls

prelfop, flop and turn are standard I'd say, now the question is on the river, as the 9 isn't the best card, now 89,9T,8T get there, but obviously c/c sucks a lot, so i chose to rather bet/fold.

And another question, seems like we are betting any river for value then?A might be close, but again, as c/c isn't a good option, we just have to bet any river then

Hi!

There are many ways to play such hands in small pots.Decitions heavily depend on your oponents. Since your oponents are unknown its hard to say which line is best.

Betting flop is totally fine but also is checking and then either raising or just c/c.
After betting flop and arrival of such nice card its mendatory to bet again on turn especially against bad CO player who will call this flop quite wide.

River is indeed a bad card and playing c/c would be bad. With your case I totally like to just b/f and extract max from 5x,pockets,Ahigh or whatever, hands which would otherwise check behind.

But its important to know that your dilema is not between b/f and c/c but rather between b/f and c/f. If you had a hand like 44,AK in this case I think its a clear c/f.Nothing better will fold and also when you check there are no draws where you can induce a bluff. In your case your hand is obviously too strong to just c/f so b/f becomes better.

yeah, thanks, but about AK and 44, i pretty much never have them in my range when i play like this, o the worst showdown value hand i could have in this spot would be some 5x and i'd probably check/fold it on river
