Is the double barrel okay? Obviously I have to give up the river.

Hello Meemawuk,

Against that kind of loose opponent who can easily even peel there with 8x/7x and maybe even worse shouldn't be a very big problem. The case is if he would be rather passive then yep, I would rather consider Checking and might even see Check behind with even from his side with TP. But while he is aggressive and if you planning to continue then rather gain fold equity with your 2nd barrel.
