they are willing to get blinded away.Not talking headsup but with 4 or 5 players left in a MTT.
and with no clear chip leader. I've run into this a couple of times lately and have been a little unsure on the best course of action.

I'm still a newbie so I'd still play a tight shoving range and not abuse the button too much.
As a shortstack I'd still shove with any Ace, KXs, K9o+, Q10+, J10+.
You reckon that range is fine as short? I don't want to shove with something that I feel I will be behind everytime.
Any other thoughts?
What I refer to is this situation.
5 players left chips something like this. P1 37,000chips P2 39,000 P3 41,000 P4 41,500 P5 8,000 Blinds 600/1200. And you are not the short stack. But P5 is folding everything just hoping to move up.
