I played this quite badly. I decide to pot the river thinking he cant fold Ax, but upon thinking about it, he protects the turn with Ax? Obvioulsy I cant beat anything on the river.

Hello Meemawuk,

Well, most likely I wouldn't pot it on river. He will anyways have hard time Calling with a lot worse. But as it came that far then most likely Bet/Folding is the only option, I can't see many hands what we beat.

What about check/call river for pot control plus we can see many bluffs here??

What bluffs? :) He is not Checking behind the turn and then bluffing, if he wanted to bluff then most likely would have done it on turn.
