So basically i was really short and the blinds were going up next to 100/200 leaving me with 5BB. There were a couple limpers in early position, and as i had an ace (making it less likely they did, espesh as they were limping, i thought i could get a fold or a call off KQ, KJ.

Was A5 just not good enough to shove here, or did i have no real fold equity, i actually got called by someone who still had to act but yeahh

Too loose shove. I don't have anything against shove from blinds with these two limpers, but now you are simply in too early position. You can't just think "Oh someone happened to have good hand behind, bad luck...". Even if they are calling with pretty tight ranges someone will find good enough hand too often.

okay, so its a fold unless im in the blinds, more just because of the people that are still to act, not the limpers calling is my main concern?

It also depends of limpers. If they are limping very often even in this blind level from early position I don't mind shove, because they have so much worse hands in their range that call from then is often not disaster. But if especially UTG would seem somewhat competent player he could be trapping quite often.

yeah for sure :) i hadnt seen him trap UTG, but i agree i thought the shove was loose at best i just didnt really know what option i had, try and wait for a better hand then shove UTG with any two if i dont find one?

Shoving any2 is plain bad most of time. Especially if table has this many players left... You can shove some hands that might be bit -EV shoves to preserve playable stack size.

It's not yet absolute disaster if blinds go though you. 3.5bb stack has still some fold equity. But you also need to remember that you might actually get playable hand on those future hands when you are in blinds. So why would you try some crazy T7o shove from UTG with 5bb stack left? Especially when now days many might assume that you are shoving with very wide range here.

Hi,

This is a fold imo - you have too many players to act behind you, and cannot generate too much FE against the EP limpers with your stack size, also your hand playability when called is bad.
