Hero wins with two-pair, aces and kings (As Kh)

This was Sh so MP2 was actually UTG. His raise is perceived to be strong and I didn't want to 3b to face a 4b or isolate myself against KKs or AAs.

As played, I decided to go for pot control on flop and river. Initial plan was to c/c if blank came and maybe also a smallish bet if scare card dropped.

Ace on the river and I decided to 3b/f if he shoves.

Is the play alright?

Hello cheekopeh,

Turn: Well, calling the flop of course is considerable. But I don't see why we should Check it behind here. I'd definitely just Bet it right here and protect my hand and maybe even get value from draws/weaker hands.

As played
River: Seems to be fine.

Best Regards.
