you had an OESD so

on the flop you needed 2:1, you got almost 3:1, and on the turn you needed 5:1 and you got almost 5:1 so yeah i'd say you did the right thing because you had good implied odds to

On the flop, your odds of making your draw with the next card are still nearly 5:1, so you are a little short there, but if you think you can make the money on later streets when you hit, then a call is fine.

If you could be sure of being all in on a flop, then the odds of making the straight by the river, that is with two card still to come, would be about 2.3:1, so you would need those pot odds, with no more money to come, to be able to call.

I bet the flop and the turn - you often take down the pot without hitting...
