Preflop: Hero is BB with 9♠, 8♠. CO posts a blind of $0.04.
2 folds, CO checks, BU folds, SB raises to $0.12, Hero calls $0.08, CO folds.

Flop: ($0.28) T♣, 9♣, 8♥ (2 players)
SB bets $0.28, Hero calls $0.28.

Turn: ($0.84) K♦ (2 players)
SB bets $0.42, Hero calls $0.42.

River: ($1.68) J♠ (2 players)
SB bets $1.68, Hero folds.

Final Pot: $3.36

I was really unsure of what I should have done in this hand. Did I go wrong somewhere? Should I have raised/folded pre-flop? Was there any point I should have raised post-flop? I got myself in a bit of a mess and it was a pretty tough one for me. Tell me what you think...

Thanks

Hello Ghartman,

Well, if you even Call it preflop then you should definitely raise the flop to protect your hand. There are so many draws from which we need to protect. But otherwise not much you could do, most likely I'd still consider raising the turn.

Best Regards.
