Hi, Lamash!
What do you think is his range there?
One thing to consider is: you are raising yourself from UTG, which means you have a strong range. You easily have AK/AQ (TP), AJ (two pair) and even AA, JJ and 99 in your opening range - all hands he can't really expect you to fold every time. On top of that, when the BB check/raises he is raising out of position in a multiway pot, where the BTN has already shown interest in the pot and looks to have at least a draw.
So... what do you think his range is? Do you think you beat it?
Even if he has a strong draw you're not happy... so this is a typical situation where you are either way behind or only slightly ahead. Not worth it in my opinion.
If he has any bluffs in his range you'll just make him fold if you re-raise (and I don't think he has many pure bluffs, if any), which is bad. But just calling his raise is even worse, because we will have a huge pot and the BTN is still to act. We have no idea to do if the BTN reraises, and we don't really have a plan for further streets as our hand cannot really improve that much (if a
or a K comes they might even improve villain's holdings).
Sad as it is, I think this is an excellent spot to shrug, find a fold and move on - at least if we don't have a read that SB bluffs a whole lot on these spots. But if he does, he is the one playing bad, not us.
