I thought his bet size on the turn was weak so that is why I called. Obviously if he had bet anything on the river I would have folded

Hello clandestineAl,

Don't turn your hand into bluff-catcher, either 2nd barrel it or just fold the hand. It's gonna be anyways hard for us to Call the turn & river which he could easily bluff.
