Are there any guidlines with regard to BRM for live cash games ? Would you expect to use a similar level as for online or could you be more aggressive with only playing one table and presumably lower standard of opposition ?
Thanks Check

depends how deep u play and what limits
For 1/2 with 100bb stacks $2,000 is enough
For 5/10 with 250bb stack u need atleast $50,000
I use 5-10 BI's myself but only playing around as a casual live player at 1/2 , 2/4
right so it is reasonable to use a significantly more aggro BRM than the suggested BRM for online cash.
Cheers

hi,
I never play live cash game.
how many hands/hour for live cash game?
Is that full ring or 6max?
thanks.
As most of the live games are full ring, you get probably like 20-30 hands per hour. I have never counted though.
I have talked to dealers about this question. They said at 1/2 that they deal 30 hands if the players know what they are doing, and the action isnt too crazy (bigger pots take longer). Late on a Friday or Saturday night when the games get pretty crazy and have mainly rec players dealers are lucky to deal 20 hands per hour.

The buyin restrictions really depend on where u play at. Where I play u can buyin for 25bb-250bb. I have heard of casinos in California where the max buyin is 50bb and casinos in Vegas which have uncapped buyins so it really depends.
okay so this is a very generalised question, but what sort of bb/100 or $/hr could one expect to win at 1/2 games? assume a solid player , beating NL25/NL50 online ?
Just it doesn't seem greatly profitable at 30/hands per hour
Thanks for the info.

with no experience in live poker I think u can expect a $15 hourly (depends on how soft the games u play in are).
