The river overbet is meh.

I'm not really a fan of the call. Reasons are: He is the BB, so he actually has a lot of 4x hands in his range. Now I'm having a hard time putting him on such a narrow range, but if you think about it, nothing else makes sense.

Why would he overbet the river with a J? Especially one that's worse than yours?

Problem is that 1.3 is not aggro enough to barrell a bluff 3 times. And I think 26/14 is not stupid enough to turn anything worse into a vbet. I mean it's really tough to say but I wouldn't expect villains to play 77 type of hands like this. Also, there are no draws that could've missed. It's too expensive for me.

Unprofessional as it is, I'm very interested, what did he have?

We split vs any Jack here( except for J4). He might be trying to get us off a chop, don't you think? I don't see myself folding. I am not sure though whether this is the best mathematical decision here getting this prize as we are playing to split the pot at best. But I am not folding.

he rarely has a 4. people dont lead trips often enough on dry flops. hes got a J a lot. maybe he spew bluffs sometimes. im calling 500 to win 450 with a higher chance at winning the whole pot than him having quads.
