AKs GS+NFD on turn

Honestly, I like to call better on the flop. Pretty cheap way to call/ take it down on the turn once he checks. We have 2 overs, BDNFD, BDSD, so I don't want to spew that equity away by turning my hand into a bluff. As played, Yeah, I bet big/call turn as well.

makes sense, but aren't we doing exactly what our opponent wants us to do with that minbet if we just flat it. More likely than not he is going to minbet again on the turn if the board doesn't change much.

What would your flop action be if he checks instead of minbetting? check behind?

I was thinking about that as well, usually they continue min betting to keep the pot small with their draws and small made hands. I used to raise in these situations as well, although tbh, I've also noticed they never fold either We have position, why should we blow the size of the pot? So, I still think I prefer the call better. Any high card and any heart that hits the turn I am gonna re-raise if he donks snall again and I def. bet any turn once it's checked to us regardless.

I am not sure this is optimal either. If we raise the flop, then we can double barrel any heart and high card, which might also do the job but then we play for a bigger pot. I just don't think he have that much more FE vs a fish if we raise the flop.

I actually like raising. The fish donk out small with either draws or second pairs, so if he has something like 66-99, we might get him off it with a raise. I'm not sure if it's best to check the turn since our equity just went up. If he has a set we'd want to see the next card free instead of getting our money in as an underdog.

with less SD value i like raising flop to barrel him off turns/rivers. with AK high we have wayyy too much SD value. i would just call flop, call turn, eval riv mostly.

as played, turn is WP. we have monster equity and hes weak -> semi-bluff/call
