Suddenly now my hands won't import after today's update? Apparently the HEM people are having the same issues so is it on the stars side or something to do with hand collectors in general?
EDIT: Ok i was looking around and apparently its because Stars changed their HH format from PokerStars Game # to PokerStars Hand #. How stupid that it completely breaks it. Also why did they even need to change it zzzz

This should work until an update is made.Your basically just going back to the last version of stars before the update with the bug
go to stars instal folder
[14:58:39] alcorel: go into a folder called BACKUP
[14:58:43] alcorel: copy all items
[14:58:59] alcorel: and past and overwrite them to stars main instal folder
[14:59:10] alcorel: do this with stars client closed
[14:59:16] alcorel: then, relaunch stars
[14:59:28] alcorel: but this time launch using another icon
[14:59:34] alcorel: go to stars instal folder
[14:59:39] alcorel: and click PokerStars
[14:59:48] alcorel: dont do StarsUpdate
[15:00:04] alcorel: because that will detect an update you dont want to do
[15:00:10] alcorel: and then you shall be fine
Make sure to always run stars through the install folder ♦

Oh well as long as i can post those buggy hands in that thread i'm fine. Eventually it'll get fixed, i hope. Plus google translate is pretty good for german.

After updating the elephant, you can update pokerstars.
now wat do i do now that i downloaded the new version of elephant?
i am computer illiterate.
do i restart my comp? do i delete the old version?

Have you download the new version from here? (<-- Click me)
After download this update, you have to close the elephant. Click with the right mouse button on the update file and start it as admin.
After starting it as admin, everything will run allone.
It is very easy.
As Silicernium said, just start the installer. The installer will take care of everything.

Hello i did exactly what you said to do i think lol .....but it did not seem to work
im using windows 7 and i went to the install folder with the back up copyed it and pasted in the folder that had the back up folder held inside ,...... is that the one i should have pasted it in or is there another ? "main folder"

I'm trying to use elephant with pokerstars.it.
Now with the new version i can import my hands but in the cash tab i can't see anything.
My room is in english and the HH too. I save my HH in a folder and i select it in the manual import tab.
Unfortunately players who just want to collect their own hand histories are being caught up in a war between PokerStars and data mining sites.
Some other sites want to protect their fish ie (regular depositors from regs and sharks.
