Bet less on the flop, $1 will do.

No reason to bet so big on a dry flop, go for a little less than half pot for balance reasons.

Once you get check/raised flat call the checkraise and shove a blank turn. This way if villain is checkraising a hand like T7xx / 458x he will barrel again on the turn drawing to 4 outs / 0 outs. If you shove the flop you're just folding out these hands that you want to keep in and you will end up stacking off against another straight (and sometimes a set).

Also for balance calling the checkraise is best, as you would if you had TT on this board.
