KTs against limper: opening up play, sub-optimal, or bad play?

As in the subject.

I c-bet here with middle pair. Then as there was no sign of an ace, I went for it on the river.

How was turn river play / bet sizing?

I would raise bigger preflop. 20c or 25c is better

I would just bet smaller on the River if you want to bluff, I think he is folding the same amount if you bet 4/5pot
