BTN: t4145 41.45 BBs
Hero (SB): t2235 22.35 BBs
BB: t3110 31.10 BBs
UTG: t1355 13.55 BBs
MP: t1170 11.70 BBs
CO: t1485 14.85 BBs

Pre Flop: (t150) Hero is SB with 8  A
4 folds, Hero raises to t225, BB calls t125

Flop: (t450) 3 :diamond: 2 :club: A :diamond: (2 players)
Hero bets t250, BB raises to t2650, Hero folds

Villain is loosing reg. I have note he is open-shoving Ax from BTN for 14bb.
His raise is basically over-shove. I am beating/splitting A4-A7. He could also have FD.
I have 17bb left and there are three smaller stacks on table = risk aversion.

Hey!

I don't think we should be giving up this hand. I see that the flop is wet, still, he virtually shouldn't be doing this with any better made hand. I give him credit (he is a reg, after all, even if a bad one), to reshipping (A9-)AT+ pre.

The shove here imo indicates that he'd like you to fold. I think it is most likely that he is semibluffing with some sort of a draw.

And in general: I wouldn't deal with too much risk aversion when we are still 6-handed, unless there are microstacks.

Regards,
