SB: $11.01 (110.1 bb)
BB: $10.30 (103 bb)

is it right to flat pre as he is restealing so wide? i think hes folding a lot to 4bets (assuming he is 3betting a polarised range).
flop & turn standard? i dont rep anything by raising and hes definately aggro enough to barrel off, with that logic after calling turn i thought i had to call a blank river

Preflop: Hero is CO with Q♣ Q♠
2 folds, Hero raises to $0.30, BTN folds, SB raises to $0.90, BB folds, Hero calls $0.60

Flop: ($1.90) 6♥ 2♠ 5♦ (2 players)
SB bets $1.35, Hero calls $1.35

Turn: ($4.60) 9♥ (2 players)
SB bets $3.30, Hero calls $3.30

River: ($11.20) 5♣ (2 players)
SB bets $5.46 and is all-in, Hero calls $4.75 and is all-in

Spoiler

Results: $20.70 pot ($0.93 rake)
Final Board: 6♥ 2♠ 5♦ 9♥ 5♣
Hero mucked Q♣ Q♠ and lost (-$10.30 net)
SB showed A♣ A♠ and won $19.77 ($9.47 net)

Hello dannywratten,

Preflop: If he really has been 3betting that much then I would just 4bet and get it in here rather than Call. With something like KK/AA we could consider trapping. The problem with QQ is that what's the plan if we see overcard? Kind of difficult for us to continue.

As played
Postflop: Of course not much to do as long you think he is even capable of 3barreling bluffing. Also that was kind of your plan preflop while flatting like that.

Best Regards.

Thanks veriz, i have a question about 3betting/defending against 3bets in general, not really to do with this hand in particular.
Against wide 3bettors, assuming we have no reads on how they react to 4bets, is a better adaption to start 4betting light for value, eg: maybe a range like TT+ AQs+(just an example) or to start calling wider IP and play against their weaker range?
Also w/o reads is it ok to assume villains wide 3betting range is polarised with many bluffs/some value hands, or maybe not make any assumtions at all untill we have further reads.
I hope im making sense here :f_biggrin:

Basically this kind of question is not possible to answer, cause there can be different lines against different opponents, different 3bettors, different stacks, different positions and so on.
