BB checks, Hero bets $0,1, BB calls $0,10.

Turn: ($0,33) 4♥ (2 players)
BB checks, Hero bets $0,26, BB raises to $0,64 (All-In), Hero calls $0,38.

River: ($1,61) 7♦ (2 players)

Final Pot: $1,61

Hey. I find myself often in this kind of a situation. On turn I got something that's too good to check behind, but also too weak if I get raised. BB's play signals strength, but I have to call due to odds and having a redraw, or am I mistaken?

If bet/calling turn is fine, what should I do if I had K :club:Q :diamond:? Thanks

Hello,

Uff flop is draw heavy (if this is right word), so you need to make big bet on flop for protection. Which cards will call you?
I guess all straith and flush draws

But on turn (4 :heart:) i will check.

With K :club: i will c/fold turn.

Hi Alesh,

I like your thoughts. Probably checking is better since all draws arrived and I mostly isolate myself against better hands. Still, river will get tricky if he bets.

Yea, but i just watch one of your hand where you fold (i will do the same after that stupid donk), but Gerv said he will never fold.
So i am soooo comfused ♦ and maybe you did right.
But with K :club: i will definitely check turn or fold if he bet before.

Hey,

Against this player + with your hand, I prefer bet/shoving more because I think he can also do this sometimes with non-flushes.

Now when you have K:cQ:d for example, I think it is close because if we check back, we are guessing the river whether he has a flush when betting or just trash. So if you can figure that out often enough to make it profitable to play it this way, then I'm all up for it :)
