UTG folds, MP raises to $0.35, 3 folds, Hero calls $0.25

Villain is 54/23/05 on 35 hands.

Since the pot is small and he most likely missed the flop, I was planning on checkraising & folding when rereraised.

Good/Bad idea?

You're turning your hand into a bluff by betting the turn. You could well be ahead with your pair of queens but there isn't really a whole load of reasons to bet as you have to fold if you get raised plus I don't see how a worse hand calls. Villain could well check behind this flop with a weak ace (like A987).

As played however on the river you have 2 choices, bet full pot or fold. A half pot bet is unlikely to get a weak ace calling and villain definitely doesn't have a set or straight so his range is busted flush draw in clubs or a diamond flush.

With this in mind you should either check and hope villain bluffs his busted draw or you should bet full pot and get worse flushes to call (obviously folding if he raises). The half pot bet has the same effect as the full pot bet, hands that would call one will call the other it just means you win less when villain does have a weaker flush by not betting full pot.
