because if you had that option, i would shove always and take BB chips pre-flop.

otherwise, i bet on the smaller side on the flop, again on the turn (considering the check on the flop), and tbh on the river too for value.

like 300 on the flop will do it, he folds if he has nothing, and it's likely he have 2 overcards that might hit and win the hand

Pre Flop: (t75) Hero is UTG with 8 8
Hero raises to t150, 6 folds, SB raises to t280, BB calls t230, Hero calls t130

yeah but sometimes when they shove just a bit over our raise we only have the option to flat or fold, and we can't raise.

I think that considering you raise 100, if he had made it less than 250 you couldn't shove.

i shove always then. BB chips are just a donation to the pot, i think he will fold almost always.

IMO our range 10-handed should be 99+ from UTG, 9-handed 88+ from UTG, 8-handed 77+ from UTG.. etc etc

so yea I raise 88 here.
