This error is showing up whenever I try to import hands.

I am sure that I installed PostgreSQL correctly - I can connect to the database using pgAdmin, using the same settings I am using for Elephant.

If I delete and re-add the database connection, it works fine until I try to import my hands again.

Are you running Elephant with an administrator account?

Yes - I am running Windows XP SP2, and my account is a 'Computer Administrator'.

Please make sure you installed a 8.3 version of postgresql. Also try looking for a 'postgres.exe' process in the Taskmanager.

Are you sure you are entering the correct user/pw for postgresql (the ones you had chosen while you installed it)?

Yes, I had installed PostgreSQL correctly, with the correct version, and was using the correct username/password. The connection to the database was working fine, and when I chose 'test database settings' there were no problems - it was only when I tried to import hands that the error occurred.

I can report that the bug is gone in 0.41, though! :)

Good to hear. (Weird bug. ;))
