First thing that pops up in my mind is that we don't need to put our self in marginal spots with our stack size. I'd just fold here and put pressure on other small stacks.

I would re-steal with 99+, AQ, ATs if he shows resistance, i would continue only with KK+

As played, I'm folding flop, cuz of the low kicker.

It is bubble and you are very risk averse as 2nd stack but i don't hate your play.
Defending pre is a bit marginal but depends on your postflop skills, but you should develop them anyway.
As played call flop is ok, turn depends on villain is he passive or aggressive did you saw him making bluffs or betting full pot only with strong hands? I would expect from chip leader to put a lot of pressure on you (even if he have no clue about risk aversion he intuitively knows that you should be folding a lot).
Any kind of reads would be very beneficial.
