Hey guys,

Hit a really cool landmark for the first time today.
In a standard 5 day work week I take home £310 after tax.
For the last 5 days of poker playing I've banked £410 !
Very satisfying feeling...might make it in poker after all :)

Nice one! Was this from constant small wins, such as Cash/SNG's ? Or thanks to a big cash in an MTT?

Grinding super turbo husngs on ipoker - split between $10s and 20s.
Almost rolled for my first ever shot at the 30s now as well :)

wouldn't bother quitting your job until you average £550/week at least.

On that note, are you planning on quitting your job to play, or just a side income?

Nah, poker's just a side income for me. Don't think I'd ever quit my job for it - firstly I love my job too much and secondly I enjoy poker too much to put that kind of pressure on getting results.

I would assume that being 20-40 buyins and his statement that it's worth more than a week of work (as opposed to shipping more than an hour or day of work), that it's more than just a honeymoon.
