SUMMARY
Total pot $65.12 Rake $1.65
BaiseRetBluff: wins $65.12

villian is 20/18 over 600

Flop:
on the flop i thought he was check folding as i had been defending alot and taking most pots away from him.
his perceived range: 56, 8x 7x 9's 10's

turn:
on the turn when i bet and he just flats, i discount 56, sets and JJ+ from his range. I've played with him enough and i know he would raise here.

river:
the river is the interesting part. He leads out for 8$, which looks like a blocker bet. I don't see how he can have a 5 in his range. However, he could have just hit 2 pair or be trying for a cheap showdown.
I shove because i think it looks weaker then strong and could tempt him into calling with 2 pair thinking that his weak bet accidentally induced a bluff from me.

So i was wondering wether this was logical thinking

Hello DecMate,

Well, do you think he is capable of calling with worse hands on the river? I don't really see him paying you with worse there. You practically just turned your hand into bluff. :(

Best Regards.

But when vs a thinking player, and i know a 5 isnt in his range here, i would argue it's possible for him to call thinking im bluffing. If i was to raise small he's folding everything as it looks stronger (IMO?)

I DUNNO :f_cool:
