Hello, my name is Mantas. I have been playing poker for more than 2 years but I haven't really try to study in to the game and to become a pro up until recently when I have reached the gold level in PokerStrategy and most of the useful strategy articles and videos have been unlocked for me.

This is my plan on moving up the limits for this year:
March-April: Reach $3.5 SNG's
May-June: Reach $7 SNG's
July-August: Reach $15 SNG's
Septemper-October: Reach $30 SNG's
November-December: Reach $60 SNG's

Moving up the limits:

BR: $200 Limit: $3.5 SNG's
BR: $400 Limit: $7 SNG's (Will start cashing out when I reach this limit if I will be a winning player on this limit)
BR: $900 Limit: $15 SNG's
BR: $1500 Limit: $30 SNG's
BR: $3000 Limit: $60 SNG's

Ultimately my goal is to reach $60 SNG's by the end of the year and cash out at least $10k in profit :)

Bankroll at March 1st:$30.29

Bankroll at March 4th:$37.75

Bankroll at March 11th:$45.71

Bankroll at March 18th: $51.36

_cool:Bankroll at March 25th: $80.51 _cool:

_cool:Bankroll at March 31st:$151.13 _cool:

Bankroll at April 1st:$186.07

Current bankroll:$195.45

Current limit: $3.5 SNG's

Cashed out amount:$0

I had started this type of blog before but due to lack of time I couldn't manage to update it regularly. This time I will only be updating my bankroll daily starting from March 1st. Further more I will be adding a weekly summary of my game, adding charts and some hands that I think are worth looking at. While all of this will be going on I look forward to chatting with other pokerstrategy members about their play and get some tips from more advanced players.

Please write everything that you think is necessary for a good weekly that people would enjoy reading and that would help me improve my game by self studying.

[====================Goals for March=======================]
*Have atleast 100$ bankroll [DONE]
*Don't have any negative profit weeks[DONE]
*Play atleast 1h each day[DONE]
*Post hands on the forums for evaluation[SEMI-DONE]
[====================March achievements===================]
Top 20 in SNG leaderboard in High orbit.
Reached $100 bankroll
[====================Goals for April=======================]
*Reach $400 bankroll
*Don't have any negative profit weeks.

Don't you mean March? :rolleyes:

This is like your 5th blog right? :P

Hopefully you stick with it, look forward to seeing how you do!

Maybe its because I'm tired, but I don't understand your picture? Could you explain the first few levels? So, once you get to $300, you move up to NL5 & withdraw $125, leaving you $175?

I would have thought you would want to move up to NL50 as fast as possible ( using BRM of course), so withdrawing such a large amount each time will slow you down a lot!

Yeh I did mean March :f_biggrin:

I think that this is my 3rd one and the last one :f_biggrin:

About the cash out: I will be making 4 cash outs on each level that I play. When my bankroll is 110$ I will make the first cash out of 31$. Then I will have a bankroll of 79$ left. Then I will be playing again until I reach bankroll of 120$ and I will cash out 31$ again leaving me with 89$. And I will do the same thing with the remaining cash outs. After the 4th cash out I will have 108$ in my bankroll. Then I will grind up to 150$ and move to NL5 :)

About the slow moving up the levels: Yeh I'm really considering skipping some payouts if it takes up to much time. But during the last week that I've played I've seen that it's possible to win 10$ in like 2-3 hours on NL2 so I think that these cash outs will not take up too much time but I could be wrong :)

Well finished my first session of the month of 534 hands :) And it ended up in profit of 51BB Did have a bigger win but on the last hand I got KK and other guy hit his low set and I gave 110BB to him :) anyway was a nice day _cool:

Please guys post your question or anything else to keep this blog going I'm not very good at it so all the tips you can give me on how to run a blog is helpful :) thats all for now see ya and good luck :)

Mate, you are going to be stuck in the micros forever if you keep cashing out from nl2, then nl4 and so on... because when you will finish NL2 cashouts you will be almost rolled for nl10.. this makes a difference. you don't want to just cashout, you want to reach profitable levels quicker

Yeh I totally agree with you. I will see how fast I will gain money and decide on that whether to cash out or not :)

Good luck and try not to put everything on monetary terms. Put more hours into learning the game. Be it articles or videos. Learning>Grinding at micros imo.

And most importantly,

HAVE FUN!

I disagree with you on this :) Minimum learning is required to beat micros. Players play way to weak at these limits and there aren't really much to learn here therefore I put way more hours into playing and getting my skill up my practice not by reading because really I have read all the articles that I could and I think that I could play NL25 quite well atm but I don't have the bankroll for it :) but we will see how it will all go for me ;) And yeh I'm having fun :f_biggrin: there's nothing more fun than making money :f_biggrin:

The last 2 hand were against a complete maniac :) he was shoving any 2 cards once the pot was raised and he called very light so I've made the moves that I did vs him :) just got unlucky :)

Here's today's graph:

Here's this week's graph(starting at March 1st):

Despite the lack of luck today the first week was not that bad and I hope that I will have all the weeks as good as this one with little more luck :)

Please post your replies and questions you would like to ask I'm looking forward to them.

Yeh I'm thinking about that but I've heard that people are getting problems when trying to import hands from hem to elephant and I do want to keep my tracked hands :)

you'll just need to configure elephant to import hands from stars HH folder, and that's really simple
