$320 Vs Unknown

For me, but just for me. Im not a Hand Judge.
I would go as big as possible at the River. The only Hand wich maybe would call a smaller bet than a bigger bet is 8x.
But all the other hands that will call the River will also Call a big bet, or they Fold to any Bet imo.

I think this is a good hand to 3bet with preflop early to test out how he reacts to three-bets.

I think you can also bet bigger on the flop too. I don't think villain will react differently with any part of his range to a 185 chip bet than he will a 145 chip bet.

Turn is a spot where you can definitely bet bigger. 6 is a card that shouldn't hit you, so whatever calls flop definitely calls turn. I like 440 on the turn - partly because it looks absolutely ridiculous to a thinking player and partly because non-thinking players probably have their mind made up already whether they're calling or folding. It looks ridiculous because the 5 should be a scarecard for both ranges. If I were in villain's shoes facing a 440 bet on the turn I would almost rule out a bare overpair vs a random, because no one all of a sudden bombs turn on this card. They're more likely to check or bet smaller, as in what you did here.

On the river, I think a big betsize is probably not optimal. I much prefer a really small betsize, because I think it induces so much spew from missed draws and a 9 that a thinking player could definitely turn into a bluff. You rep an overpair that is blocking really well vs a thinking player, and even fish can get away from a 9 on this river vs a big bet. I like 330 on the river. I think your middling betsize of slightly less than half pot isn't really bad though.

Usually I dont think we induce a Shove on the River with Air, because if Villain likes to spazz out he would c/r our Turn Barrel. TurnBetsize doesnt look like an OverPair. Looks like Nuts or ...hm, dont know what else. Looks strong or looks like we wanna Bet/Fold.

RiverBetSize imo depends on which Level Villain is thinking. If we never rep a bluff (missed Draw) with a small BetSize, a thinking Player should fold at least 8x.
9x maybe the same, if we can rep something missed he could call a bigger Bet also.
Hm, so maybe youre right. We could Bet really small to get a call from recreational Players with 9x and 8x. But the River pairs, and I see so much people calling on the River to any BetSize with 9x. (Because they have TwoPairs now)

For me it always depends on reads and tabledynamics which BetSize I choose on the River. If we have sick, aggro Image and Villain is a station then I would go bigger on the River. Lets say 690
And if I think Villain never ever calls 8x (or weak 9x) to any BetSize but Calls 6x and 7x no matter how big we bet, then Im going for an OverBet.
If he plays his draws passiv I dont think he would Shove the River to a smallish Bet. So in this case it doesnt matter how big or small we bet.

Im not sure, maybe Im losing Value by betting big? But in Game Im betting big in this spot.
