Preflop: Hero is UTG with A♣ J♥
Hero raises to $1, MP calls $1, 4 folds

Flop: ($2.35) A♥ K♠ 8♥ (2 players)
Hero bets $1.68, MP raises to $3.75, Hero calls $2.07

Turn: ($9.85) 4♥ (2 players)
Hero checks, MP bets $7, Hero calls $7

River: ($23.85) 9♣ (2 players)
Hero checks, MP bets $15.70 and is all-in, Hero folds

I know I played this hand so bad.. But could it be a raise get it in on the flop? Or just fold there?

Villian is 19/13/7.1. Fcbet 50 Rcbet 25 out of 4 hands. AF 6.0. WTSD 31.

Interesting spot. Given his high 3bet, I'd expect villain to 3bet AA, KK and AK, so his pure value raising range is really narrow like only 88 and perhaps but most likely not AQ, with the Jh you block some of his draws, but he can still have KQh and maybe QTh or some random FD. Against this range your actually quite behind and OOP , so a fold wouldnt be to bad.

If we add some random pure bluffs or some naked gtshts, were basicily flipping against his range.Not sure how to proceed in this case OOP.

Hi,

don´t really see player making moves on AKx boards, so I think b/f flop would be the best play, if I put him some kind of bluff I think calling down is better option than calling turn to only fold river.
