my first few hands are played on the CAP nl200 SH Tables.

its quite tough and the blind wars are crazy, but im positive to beat it longterm.

a few hands

im quite sure that he would raise any FD on the flop, turn check/raise to balance check/folds

Hey Afrika,
I'm happy you are still blogging, altough I would have prefered to see your blog among the german MSS blogs as I was used to :)

I know you are a player who gives thoughts to stack/pot ratios on later streets, so I would really like to hear your thoughts on the cbet sizes on the flop in hand 1 and 3.

Would you have bet the same ammount with AK without  in Hand 1? And do you bet so small for induce in hand 2? Against a player like this I want to get the max. ammount from flushdraws, overpairs and any other stupid combo he hast got in his range so my bet would have been something like 6,5$ in this spot. But maybe he c/raises very light and that was the reason for your bet?

Keep it up and best regards from austria :)

1) well the thing is that its hard to say how many flush draws he got in his range and to be honest, i dont wanna bring it in on the flop, because most FD's have overcards to my 67 and im way behind.
i bet here as a bluff, because i know that on CAP almost any hit goes directly all in especially when their is a FD out and this board is really good for a bluff cbet vs 2. my standard cbet size is 44%pot, because it induces a lot and its cheap.
of course i vary the size against fish on drawy boards with TP or OP
i was quite surprised to see him call his KJ on the flop, but on the turn im certain, that almost no Flush is out there.

3) same here, draws will raise or push and the size is good to induce. i could certainly bet bigger to get value from FD's, but against an aggressive fish i always prefer the induce bet or check raise, especially when im so far ahead on the flop and its unlikely that he hit.

hand 2) well you cant iso raise 3 bb on cap nl200SH, thats burned money :) i have position on the fish and want to play postflop against him.i even iso raise 2 bb sometimes, because when they hit, they go broke and its not important to build a big pot on the flop to get all his money in.

big iso raises make it so profitable for the other players to ship, but still hard for me to call, because my need equity does not really change, but his EV becomes bigger, because he got almost the same FE and the deadmoney is bigger.

greetings

I was still talking about the 86 Hand and the small Flop bet, i just accidently wrote hand 2...

Ok I have absolutely no idea about CAP games. I thought you were deeper than 20bb but appearently you can not bet more than 20bb although you have a bigger stack right?
Of course that changes the whole situation and your sizing makes more sense to me now :)

yeah its 20bb maximum each hand ;) shortstacking without the need to leave tables after double ups, rocks hard ;)

I am a bit curious why you decided to add SH CAP to your repertoire. Just to try it out? It will be tough to maintain a good winrate and keep your mind off the variance it brings.
I saw you saying that you had trouble in this regard on your main mss stakes, so why the switch to a variant of nl that even has slimmer winrates and even more variance in regular play?

Sad to see you leave the german blogging community, but you will have your reasons...

Cap beat me, for the time being :)
had to cash out some money and 50 stacks under EV on nl200 CAP made me stop it for now.

gotta rebuild now on the FR Tables with the MSS
