Poker Stars $25.00 No Limit Hold'em - 5 players - View hand 1668117

UTG: $29.04 - VPIP: 22, PFR: 17, 3B: 0, AF: 4.0, Hands: 93

Hero (BB): $25.00 - VPIP: 21, PFR: 19, 3B: 6, AF: 5.2, Hands: 83504

Pre Flop: ($0.35) Hero is BB with K  A :club:
UTG raises to $0.75, 3 folds, Hero calls $0.50

Flop: ($1.60) T :spade: 4  2 :club: (2 players)
Hero checks, UTG bets $1.00, Hero raises to $3.08, UTG folds

Is this a good way to play AK vs a tight opener? I thought that if I 3bet I my opponent will usually 4bet himself QQ+, AK and call with some weaker hands or fold... which now looks better than my fancy plan to strenghten my calling range here with AK and c/r most flops :f_eek:

Hello DeMarcohsp,

Seems to be fine, especially if he has a high CB frequency here, you have a lot of fold equity.

Best Regards.
