Pre Flop: (30.00) Hero has Q♥ A♣

UTG raises to 40.00, fold, fold, fold, Hero raises to 120.00, fold, fold, fold, fold, UTG calls 80.00

Flop: (270.00, 2 players) 9♥ 2♥ Q♣
UTG bets 135.00, Hero raises to 390.00, UTG calls 255.00

Turn: (1050.00, 2 players) 7♣
UTG checks, Hero bets 990.00, fold

Hero wins 1,050.00

Would you rather check the turn and stab the river (to allow some bluffs) if he misses the draw? I figured if he had a set then he would probably bet bigger to protect his hand against my possible draw, so I put him on a draw or some middle pair.

Hi all,

I'd call preflop to start with, calling or folding will be better than 3betting here.

Turn is a snap/insta all-in as played. Against the range of hands we wish to get value from, there are a million scarecards that can come on the river that either: a: make their hand, or b: we can no longer get value from their hand. So shoving for protection/value is best.
