Poker Stars, $0.02/$0.05 No Limit Hold'em Cash, 5 Players

BB: $1.93 (38.6 bb)
MP: $5.27 (105.4 bb) 35/23/2.0/0.0/9/31
CO: $2.83 (56.6 bb)
BTN: $6.12 (122.4 bb)
Hero (SB): $9.54 (190.8 bb) 24/18/2.6/6.3/17/40

Preflop: Hero is SB with A Q
MP raises to $0.15, 2 folds, Hero raises to $0.45, BB folds, MP calls $0.30

I 3-bet cause he is pretty loose and i thought i'd be ahead of his range.

Flop: ($0.95) J 5 Q (2 players)
Hero bets $0.70, MP calls $0.70

The board was a bit drawy but I think I was ahead with my TPTK so I thought a C-Bet was fine here and I expected him to fold here. His call made me think he might be on a draw, could also have a pair.

Turn: ($2.35) 8 (2 players)
Hero bets $1.50, MP folds

The turn completes a draw but I thought I could still be ahead with my pair and decided to raise almost 2/3 pot. What do you think of the bet size? I was prepared to fold here if I got raised so If I do get raised would folding be the best option?

Hello maheepsangari,

Preflop: Why do you 3bet so small here?

As played
Postflop: Why do you Bet the turn? What worse hands do you expect him to be calling with?

Best Regards.
