I would bet the Flop. Your opponent haven't hit that board very well. You are sometimes ahead and on a good Turncard you could convince A6 A7 to make a laydown and when you check you don't actually know whether you got bluffed by some worse hand and you dominate more worse hands than they dominate you. 4handed i would not bet as well but 3handed, given a board where your opponents habe missed way often, i would bet and try to take it down on the Turn. Given this Rivercards it's an easy fold.
Suggestions on that hand?
I would rather check/call a board like J89 where you have 2 Overcards and a Gutshot but not that kind of dry board that nobody has really hit and frequently the one who whos aggression wins the pot.
