average equity/area calculator

Hi!

I needed an area calculator to the equilab omaha program.
It could be useful at low SPR (stack to pot ratio) scenarios to
calculate +EV moves.
For example, it could be useful to calculate whether calling a 4bet with
speculative hands against a well defined range with the intention
of calling the auto stack off postflop at certain boards and certain
pot odds is profitable or not.

Unfortunately I did not have access to the source code, so I've
created another program which hooks into the equilab omaha
and sniffs the simulated equity graph.

The program won't start without the equilab omaha already started.
It is not too sofisticated but does it's job (well no guarantees, bugs
could be lurking in there :) ).
After running the equity simulation in equilab omaha, just change
the pot odds in the hooking process with the slider or the spinner,
to refresh the data graph.

It would be nice if you guys could integrate it sometimes in the main
software.

You can find a screenshot and the executable at the following links:

http://www.4shared.com/photo/5wEk_vDn/equilab-omaha-hook.html
http://www.4shared.com/zip/_F19gpkF/EquilabOmahaHook.html

The executable's md5 sum is: 55876f5cc55274dfcd59f4750306298d

Hope I did not do anything naughty, if you guys consider it offending
I will take it down.

Cheers,
Norbert.

P.S.
Being cautious with untrusted software is never a mistake.
Consider running them with tools like http://www.sandboxie.com/

Example:

1. Download EquilabOmahaHook.zip
2. Extract it (you'll get the EquilabOmahaHook.exe)
3. Start omaha equilab
4. Start EquilabOmahaHook.exe
5. Select hand range for first player (for example 4567)
6. Select hand range for second player (for example AA)
7. Select Tools -> equity graph for next street
8. Select Hand vs. Hand
9. Calculate
10. Go to EquilabOmahaHook and write into pot odds 33% hit enter

That stops at number 4, as EquilabOmahaHook doesn't run, windows gives me some sort of a message that it has stopped working. Or then nothing happens as I double click it. Windows 7.

The application is written in .NET 4, so you need the .NET runtime engine to run it. If for some reason you don't have it already, you can download it from here: http://www.microsoft.com/download/en/details.aspx?id=17851

From that link windows repaired my .net stuff. After that, nothing changes. When I open EquilabHook, nothing happens. It won't even give any messages, just nothing happens.

Sorry to hear that it does not work for you.
If you did the steps as I sad in the example, then I am out of ideas.
The software is actually a huge dll hooking hack so not the best solution
but I had no choice.
Anyone out there with success?
I will try it myself on my other notebook to see what happens.
