NL Holdem $1(BB) Replayer
SB ($99)
Hero ($100)
UTG ($124)
UTG+1 ($43.64)
CO ($40)
BTN ($100)

Dealt to Hero 4♠ A♣

fold, fold, fold, fold, SB raises to $3, Hero raises to $9, SB calls $6

FLOP ($18) K♣ 3♦ 4♦

SB bets $12, Hero?

villain: 16/14 - 2.6k hands, 68% fold to resteal

Villains is a shortstack player who recently appears to have start playing with a full stack.

Not much to say about pre. Perfect hand to 3bet, esp against an opponent who folds a decent amount to 3bets (although almost most hands are from when he played ss..).

Anyway, as usual, when facing a donkbet I am clueless. Often times in these spots (either in single raised pots, or 3bet pots) I always end up either folding right away on the flop or calling flop-turn and then fold to a riverbet. I guess my inexperience in these spots mostly has to do with the fact that I myself basically don't have any donkbetting ranges against regulars.

So how are you proceeding here with the hand when we don't know anything about our opponent's donkbetting tendencies?

I would fold and be pretty happy about it. We have pretty poo equity vs most legit value donks and we're not really doing great vs his semibluffs (although AdXd we do good vs.

MY preference would be to raise over call but I think we have a little too thin of a value range. K67dd would be miles better.

This is a spot where we can REALLY put pressure on his donks when we have a slightly higher part of our range, so I'd prolly just fold here, make a note he did this and wait till i have a different hand to start trying to fuck with him

If hes the kind of player donk/calling weak pairs, underpp to the K like 55-TT i q like raising now; Ad4 would be a lilbit better.
i raise now and bet close to any turn speshly A, Q, T, 9, 8, diamonds, 5 and 2.

and if he appears to donk/calls Kx -> prolly gonna rape his c/c ranges next time.

isn't a fold a bit weak? I guess an average reg does not donkbet Kx here but mostly a flushdraw.

you have pretty meh equity vs everything, you're 3bet range has a ton of good hands in it, just wait till you have one of those imo
