you cant flat for set value though, can you? 125x20 = 2500. And a set is pretty much -apart from undercards - what you'll need to continue on the flop.

Since i dislike shoving, i think we are left with 2 options: 3bet or flat. Problem with 3betting is that its going to be a 3bet/fold because i dont think he would 4bet with enough worse hands here. If you 3bet to 300-350 (which is the seize i'd make it) then he'd have to 4bet more than 88, AJ for you to call this. So if your opponent only folds or 4bets vs your 3bet, it doesnt matter anymore if your hand is 99 or 72o. Ofc he could just flat your 3bet and you take the flop in pos which is ofc ok.
BUt i'd still prefer to flat to not to iso myself against better hands and not to turn my 99 to a bluff. I take the flop in pos and not for set value only. I'd call a c-bet on flops with only 1 overcard for example.

what do you do on very wet one-overcard boards, like J86ss? K87ss? (<- two cards suited)
What do you do on the turn (after calling a cbet on a 34Tr flop), when a second overcard shows up and he smallbets?
What I'm trying to get across is your post-flop spots are going to be hard since his range is so wide. Therefore I suggest we opt for a shove (bad stack size but what option's left?) to avoid getting in post-flop spots and to get value from the retarded calls he will make (it's a $1 limit).
But of course I'm waiting for a judge to say his part

I like this line. J86ss I'd still call flop and evaluate turn in position. There will be enough times he shuts down, or we get to pot control and catch bluffs.
