Preflop: Hero is BTN with A K
UTG folds, MP raises to $0.12, CO folds, Hero raises to $0.40, 2 folds, MP raises to $4.04 and is all-in, Hero calls $3.64

Flop: ($8.14) T Q T (2 players, 1 is all-in)
Turn: ($8.14) 5 (2 players, 1 is all-in)
River: ($8.14) 2 (2 players, 1 is all-in)

Results: $8.14 pot ($0.40 rake)
Final Board: T Q T 5 2
Hero showed A K and lost (-$4.04 net)
MP showed A A and won $7.74 ($3.70 net)

This guy reraised every raise i mad, so i played back, lost with AK again, brings my grant total of profit with AK to -$22.42 dollars, so im not going to play this hand anymore. There is no way i am mising value when everytime i play it i get stomped.

Hello haines21,

Standard that people tend to overplay AK type of hand. At the best you flipping anyways with the hand and unless you know that the guy is going broke with a lot worse it will be difficult to play with huge profit.

Therefore what do you think what's his shipping range? What about stats? You are using HM2 and want to say no stats on him?

if i can add my 2 cents as well veriz advice is bang on, but in all fairness its not like you HAVE to stay at that table, if your having massive trouble just get up and move table, table selection, beauty of cash

funny you should say i overplayed it.

At work i dloaded pokerstove and saw that In most cases its around the 50% mark, dont really want to be coinflipping for continual profit.

So with AK should I should be looking to fold in this situation as i want to see a flop?

Depends a lot on the opponent we are against, against some we can even ship the moneyzzz with AK, against some we might turn our hand into bluff. Especially vs tight opponents we turn our hand into bluff.

Another possibility would be just flatting and keeping his range wide and reevaluate further actions postflop.
