UTG+1 checks, Hero ???
Villain is tight and pretty straightforward, cbets 68% on the flop and 55% on the turn. He plays 11/9/3.8 AF 4.4.
I decided to smooth call AA UTG+2, because he folds to 3bet 83% of the time and the table was aggressive enough. At least 4 more people behind who like to 3bet and squeeze a lot. Plus an aggressive short stack who just lost the previous pot and was reduced to 20BB, so i decided to give somebody a chance to 3bet. Nothing happens and we take a flop heads up.
Flop: Is there a reason for me to raise? The flop doesn't connect with his range of high cards, but that is pretty unlikely as i hold two of the aces. Should I always raise AA on such a flop if for some reason I slowplay preflop?
Turn: Once he checks, I thought the hand was over, but i still bet for value, maybe I get called by something. What do I do if he check-raises the turn? Do I give him QQ-KK and shove?
River: The flush completes and he checks again, is this a must value bet? I'm getting called by QQ and KK only, the flush will most likely raise. I didn't realize he could not have AsKs or AsQs as I had the As myself.... ![]()
What do I do if I bet and he raises? Standard fold?
