Hero mucked Q Q and lost (-7 BB net)
BTN showed J 9 and won 13.8 BB (6.8 BB net)

This has not been a great week at all, I wondering if I'm just loosing the plot

I like your play. Who could have known that he's that stupid to not raise his monster on the Turn. When you're facing this opponent again you should just call in the next hand as 79 and J9 have got you beat but i wouldn't have assumed as well that he's just calling the nuts on the Turn and so i do feel comfortable with 3betting the river. hoping that he did hit 55 or is raising QJ KQ AQ AT or something like that although Qx is kind of unlikely as 3 queen are already dealt out. But though: Not assuming his raising 79s and J9o on the turn there's no hand that beats you and i think you didn't do a mistake. It was just bad luck but now knowing that he's capable of delaying strong hands you should certainly just call the next hand a similar situation occurs.

Thanks for that! It was a crushing blow at the time and it made me feel stupid. Like you say next time I'll be ready for moves like this.

Nevermind! Feel free to post more hands. :) I know that you get the feeling to be an idiot because you think about yourself that you could have predicted it but no, you couldn't :)
