me too on both counts

I'd say that a large chunk of my profit comes from the UK. It seems players from there are playing because they are drunk and/or bored and it's just light entertainment for them.

I've also noted a large number of very profligate Spanish players; which is suprising given the state of their economy (financial based nationalism ooooh yeah ♦)

Gambling is probably more ingrained in British (And Irish) culture than a lot of other places in Europe, so I think it probably makes sense there are plenty of bad Brits at your tables.

at least when it comes to the grand national, I couldn't get into the bookies. There was 500 people at our local!

The reason is as described in one of the first replies. I'm British, I have friends who think I'm weird because I use bank roll management, and don't understand why, if I have $150 in my account why don't I just sit down and play with $150? They put money in their account to play with if they win a lot they might cash it all out, but generally will play until they lose, and see it as paying for the evening's entertainment. You will find them at the midstakes.

I'm taking a lot of money from Spanish people and Russians. But that's probably because I just notice them more because they are swearing at me ♦

Generally if someone is swearing at me the most profitable play is to calmly troll, which basically involves getting them as mad as possible. When that happens I just search for the player and sit at all his tables. Bankroll increases.

Ah no, good tactic esuohdla. Poker is getting tougher and tougher so any way to make ends meat is always good.
