Need help

The main problem here is after you 3 bet preflop you can pretty much represent absolutely nothing at all on this flop. And that is a problem because you have hit a piece of it, just maybe not enough to justify shoving.

I like checking this flop and seeing what happens. Villain will often take a stab at it and it's possible he will price you in by betting half pot or similar.

But villain could also think he is bluffing with a number of hands that have you in trouble, such as if he has a pair of jacks and a flush draw.

You have good equity if villain has 2 pair, but behind to a set or obviously a straight. You are also behind an overpair and flush draw and flipping against just a flush draw.

It's one of those hands where I don't think you can fold but it's also bad to bet so I like checking so that you keep villains bluffs in his range, betting just isolates yourself against better hands.

Also do you sometimes check here with some strong hands also? Like what and why?

Given the right circumstances (that villain isn't a nit) 3 betting is fine with this hand though obviously I would much prefer you be doing this in position and not so deep when out of position.

Checking is the best plan on the flop (and it's usually with the intention of check/calling) as it's good to have this in your range, you don't want villain knowing you're folding each time you check the flop as it makes his flop bluffs highly profitable for him.

You have enough equity against villain's full betting range on the flop to take the hand further.
