Pacific Poker - $0.20 NL - Holdem - 9 players
Hand converted by PokerTracker 3

UTG+1: $24.45
MP: $20.00
MP+1: $11.70
LP: $20.00
CO: $20.00
BTN: $23.91
SB: $20.88
Hero (BB): $22.14
UTG: $20.00

SB posts SB $0.10, Hero posts BB $0.20

Pre Flop: ($0.30) Hero has 9♦ A♦

fold, fold, fold, fold, fold, fold, fold, SB raises to $0.60, Hero calls $0.40

Flop: ($1.20, 2 players) A♠ A♥ K♦
SB bets $0.80, Hero calls $0.80

Turn: ($2.80, 2 players) 2♥
SB bets $2.00, Hero calls $2.00

River: ($6.80, 2 players) 8♠
SB bets $4.00, Hero calls $4.00

Preflop:
I didn't want to 3b because against his stealing range we are ahead.
equity win tie pots won pots tied
Hand 0: 56.868% 54.13% 02.74% 401070355 20319271.88 { As9s }
Hand 1: 43.132% 40.39% 02.74% 299290657 20319271.88 { 44+, A2s+, K3s+, Q5s+, J7s+, T7s+, 97s+, 87s, A3o+, K7o+, Q8o+, J9o+, T9o }

He folds to 3B a lot so I didn't want to force him to fold.

Flop & Turn:
I don't have any doubts about flop but about turn I should be more careful.
On the turn I think that we can steal call it but light should have been turned on because of his stat of Cbet just 40%...

River:
It was very hard to fold but I think that I should have done it :(

I still like the play here, I think that he can fire all the way with a Kx hand and have him thinking that he is ahead

I think I would have lost more money from the sounds of it as I probably c/r turn

I guess he showed up with A big kick or house?

Hey BGawli,

Let s put him on range:

Board: A♠A♥K♦ 2♥ 8♠
       Equity     Win     Tie
SB     57.00%  54.00%   3.00% { KK+, 22, A2s+, A2o+ }
BB     43.00%  40.00%   3.00% { Ad9d }

of course we could argu about would he bet A4 or any baby A except A2 with such a bet but still I think you will get the equity to make it a break even call. Especially in a BvB. PreflopI dont mind the call if you have a plan how to take it down postflop.

Yo Sasa.
From my point of you I made a mistake on the river. Bet on the turn was very strong. He 2ndB just 40% so when he bets he bets with strong hand. Now he barreled again on the river. I think that I should have folded it but I couldn't. Probably this is my leak. I lose money when I holds trips.

Preflop is good if you have a plan and play aggro on specific boards. But I also think a 3bet is good, cause it's insta money printingz.

I think you can't do anything else than call him down postflop unless you have a read he doesn't make thin valuebets OTR (lower Ax) or he never bluffs. It's BvB so he will bluff sometimes.

As I said BGawli the whole point is do you see him betting the river with Ax(2-7). If yes then call if not fold easy one.Still I would call the turn.

Hi,

should be easy calldown with trips.
14/11 should open most Ax hands on the SB, so he can valuebet worse hands and if he picked up hearts on the turn he might easily bet river as bluff.

best regards,
