I don't think i understand your line here.. with that flop he should have one of the million possible draws, non of which got there, so i guess your TPTK should be good here. Id bet the river or check like you did but hoping to induce bluff and call his shove happily. He could have you crushed on the flop already, but its weird he wasn't protecting on the flop/turn. If he flopped a straight, well, tough luck.

abt the flop bet - maybe slightly bigger as you suggested, that would make the river decision easier as well.

Hey!

You can bet bigger on both flop and turn for more prot/value.

And I'd definitely check/call the river, many of the draws missed, tho some got there and he could have a straight on the flop but - as it was commented before - he looks more like a draw with his passive line.

With the missed FDs and some missed SDs I'd check/call the river.
