NL5 SH 77 freeplay set pot building

That's usually the way to play against fish, and you're going to see way more fishes than good players at NL5.

Preflop is fine. You want to keep the fish in the pot.

Flop bet is great! You want to maximize your value. Yes, there's a possible straight out there, but you shouldn't worry about it until you see a raise from a nitty player.

Turn, I recmomend actually betting more, since two people called. I don't think $0.60 is horrible, but if someone is going to call you, might as well get more value. It just so happens BTN was slow playing what he thought was the best hand, but chances are he was going to raise you anyway. If someone has sticky QT, you want the maximum value for the draw. If someone has AJ and he is going to check/call flop and turn, you want more money in the pot.

Obviously, call all-in if they raise you all-in. I actually like that you shoved the turn, instead of flatted, as that looks suspiciously strong, you might've earned yourself an extra $0.90 there.

my plan on flop is to bet/shove because i'm just generally ahead of their range and even against straights i have reasonable equity.
on turn however my equity against straights pretty much sucks. but i still see myself ahead of their general range often, which should include many twopair and even top pair.

as for the turnbet, they are kinda shortstacked, so i bet what i thought was just enough to set up a river shove where they could call for "good odds"...
i mean, pot is 0.80 - with two callers it goes to 0.80+0.60*3 = 2.60 when BTN would have like 2.4 left and i can shove for slightly below potsize.
okay, that's not superawesome for him, but if MP stays on the pot it gets a lot more enticing
if MP folds turn i just can't do anything about bombing the pot anyway.

i have more hands from this session to post, but i'm just being lazy for now.

You could Bet the turn more so you would have an easy shove on the river. But of course vs their stacks we ain't really planning to fold our hand anyways.
