Hello PokerStrategy,
First off, thank you for your awesome website.
I am 23 and live in Florida. I started playing poker a few months ago and right away I fell in love. My beginners luck recently ran out and I almost lost my initial deposit of $50. Once my BR got low I began reading more articles, watching more videos and researching the life of being a professional poker player. I have decided this is a dream I will achieve.
I have already completed Lesson 1 so I will go ahead and post my homework here.
Question 1: What is your motivation for playing poker?
To become a professional.
Question 2: What are your weaknesses when playing poker?
My biggest weakness is not playing the way I should. By this I mean I will do things that I know are -EV but I might feel like I have already dedicated too much money to my hand or I might feel like my opp is bluffing or I might just feel lucky.
Question 3: What does it mean to play tight aggressive?
I think it means you play a small range of hands and you raise instead of limp. You would do this because you benefit from your opponents mistakes and at micro stakes the most common mistake is players playing too many hands and just calling along.
