This was in a 30 person sit and go on Poker770. Didn't have any particular reads against the villain as hadn't played him before and hadn't had many hands on the same table as him.
I made a 1/2 pot bet on the flop which I'm thinking now I maybe should have made more like 3/4 pot for protection with possibilities of straight and flush draws.
On the turn I wanted to stay aggressive rather than checking and another 1/2 pot bet would have committed me so I decided to push.
Should I have been more wary of the possibility of the villain having hit a straight or do you think the chances of him playing a hand such as a flush draw, lower set or 2 pair along with me having a few outs for a full-house and 4oak justify a push in this situation?

comes down I'm probably check folding, i can't imagine the villain raising without a J because even if he has 2 pair here he is going to want to see a cheap showdown and be very wary of the the straight so somebody raising here with a hand worse then ours? Very unlikely.
