HEM1 and Pokerstars

Hi, I have been tracked at PartyPoker with HEM 1 already so I am not totally noobie at this. However, now when I start auto import (I manually added the folder that the hand histories are in & yes they are in english), it uploads the files but under hands it says 0 uploaded. So I am wondering what I can change to get the hands converting properly and the HUD working at Pokerstars.

Thank you for your time.

Do I have to retype my license and start new database if I upgrade? I don't want to do all of that over again if so. =(

Depends on the version you are using at the moment.

We changed the licensing system some month ago so it may be necessary to reenter your key (if you lost it start HEM -> Help -> Registration -> Show serial number).

And the new release runs a database update during the first start. I recommend you do a backup before starting it. But it should not require a new database.

My Holdem Manager 1 is not recording my results correctly.
Im playing 180 man and it never says there are 180 total,
it always gives random numbers >180.
Sometimes it wont show a min cash on graph & winnings.

The biggest issue is that i want to play stacked 20tables.nnin
when i have more than 10 stacked my HEM stops running and closes.
I cannot have this happen cause i cant play without a HUD.
And I dont want to have to relaunch HUD constantly!

I dont know if i must buy a new laptop or if my HEM1 is corrupt?
I have a very basic laptop, Intel Celeron 900 @ 2.2 GHz 3 GB Ram.
I can put 1 more GB ram in but thats the limit.
Should I be able to play 20 tables stacked in 4 slots with my laptop??

For the results: You need to import additional tourney summaries:
Stars now supports the automatic writing of summaries: http://faq.holdemmanager.com/questions/441/Poker+Stars+Tournament+Summary+Setup

For older tourneys you have to request tournament summaries manually: Pokerstars > Requests > Tournament Histories...
and import the data from the mail: http://faq.holdemmanager.com/questions/117/Import+Emailed+Hand+Histories+

Then import them manually to HM.

For the crash: probably a misconfiguration of your auto-import folders.
Please post the contents of your holdemmanager.config file (under c:\programs\rvg software\holdemmanager\config)

You need to open the file holdemmanager.config with a texteditor like notepad and post the contents.

Its the file
HoldemManager...... CONFIG file

Or you can attach the file to a mail and send it to netsrak@holdemmanager.net.
Please add a link to this thread and a problem description.

I replied to your mail with some changes you need to do in your auto-import configuration.
If its still not working please reply to my mail and if necessary we can schedule a teamviewer session. But i'm pretty sure its the misconfiguration of your auto-import folders.

Thanks Netsrak I think Ive got it right now! Its not crashing anymore :)

Currently in my HEM Import folders are the following two folders:
C:\Users\Darren\Desktop\New Hand Histories Stars + subfolders
C:\Users\Darren\Appdata\Roaming\HEM Data\Hands (archive disabled)

My Stars Hand History Options is ticked to save Hands History to:

C:\Users\Darren\Desktop\New Hand Histories Stars\

Does this look correct now?
What is archive disabled mean?

That looks good. If you play tourneys you need to configure the tourney summaries in a similar way.

Archiving is a procedure in the auto-import. 15 mins after the last access the auto-import moves handhistory files to the configured archive folder (default c:\hmarchive\"year"\"month"\"day". This gives you a backup of your original handhistory files and it is necessary for performance reasons.

The folders configured for the auto-import should only contain the latest hands.
