win rate

i was looking in my pokerofficer today , for NL25 44,352 HANDS $1462.53 BB/100=6.60.......... IS THAT A GOOD WIN RATE ? or am i just a fish like every1 says?

Then you should lower your expectations, it'd be pretty hard to achieve this winrate over the long run, the players are bad @ NL25 but the rake is too.

the older pros must have had a bigger win rate than 6.60 . most of them only played live poker and never played 40,000 hands in there life. they got rich from playing poker . they had to have won more than that

live is much easier and the average level has greatly increased over the years

6.6BB/100 = 13.2bb/100, you won't see many regs at NL100+ winning at 5bb+/100, in fact most of them are break even/slightly losing or winning slightly.

Average player level online is much higher than live, the games increased in toughness over the years too and there are fewer reads possible as well.

Also the pros you are talking about didn't ever play stakes as low as NL25.

So online isn't cash printer anymore, it's more of a volume = profit kind of thing now.
