Hi,

utg+1 is 30/20 somethiing (over about 20 hands) so unknown. BTN is 25/20 regular, plays 42/34 from BTN, tough opponent. He folds 60% to 3bet, 45% fold to cbet.

On flop I cbet. He snapcalled me. I think that means he has like TT-88, maybe something like KJ. I didn't think he could lay it down on blank turn, so I gave up the hand.

Grabbed by Holdem Manager
NL Holdem $1(BB) Everest
SB ($104)
Hero ($108)
UTG ($76.50)
UTG+1 ($84.90)
CO ($133)
BTN ($140)

Dealt to Hero K♠ Q♣

fold, UTG+1 raises to $3.50, fold, BTN calls $3.50, fold, Hero raises to $14.50, fold, BTN calls $11

FLOP ($33) J♦ 7♠ 2♦

Hero bets $21, BTN calls $21

TURN ($75) J♦ 7♠ 2♦ 7♦

Hero checks, BTN checks

RIVER ($75) J♦ 7♠ 2♦ 7♦ 4♥

Whats your image if BTN is playing back at you? BTN's range is quite weak. BTN shouldnt be flatting any premiums against the fishy MP.
Since BTN doesnt fold to cbets a lot and this flop seems quite good for floating, I doubt just cbetting and giving up is an option. I think this is a decent spot to 3barrel, cause there is not much villain can call you down here.
I also think that even thou the turn didnt change much, if you bet it you show a lot of strenght and villain would have tough time calling with 88-TT and even KJ shouldnt feel good about it.

My image is rather loose/aggro.

I understand your point. But I feel like (where I play) in general the regs just call down with such hands (probably because of my loose image). Especially the snapcall made me feel like he wasn't floating or had draw since it doesn't rep much strength.

I also felt bad about just cbetting and giving up. So maybe in future, vs this guy I should cbet less. Also not a great board to cbet I guess.

Cbetting less should work, it wiil take time before regs notice that and meanwhile youll be just valuetowning those ligh calldowners.

Im also trying to establish myself at nl100 atm, maybe we could do a sweat sometime, never done that before.

Yh I agree that firing one prolly not the best here, although we don't get a veyr nice turn card. Even said I think he has a lot of weak hands pre-flop and A LOT of them will continue to the turn so I think given that we have to fire again.

The best vacuum play would prolly be to bet turn and not fire river, as I think once he's called the turn you'll get called OTR quite a bit as his range OTR is a decent bit stronger than the flop. That being said from an overall perspective I think it's a perfectly fine spot to 3barrel.
